Chiropractic Techniques
The Doctors at Sequim Family Chiropractic Center utilize a variety of gentle, low-force techniques, which when combined, create a unique adjusting method safe for the whole family and all stages of life.

This technique is the most commonly used of all chiropractic techniques. The Diversified adjustment entails a high velocity, low amplitude thrust delivered by hand.

Dr. Rob and Dr. Erin are Webster certified. The Webster technique is a specific sacral adjustment for pregnancy to facilitate the mother's pelvic alignment and nervous system function. It is known to help reduce pain and discomfort by limiting torsion to the uterus by it's connective ligaments and muscles.

Dr. Erin and Dr. Rob use gentle methods of adjusting spines, including the Activator instrument and technique systems developed by Dr. Arlan Fuhr, to correct spinal and extremity dysfunction.

Dr. Erin and Dr. Rob are both Rock Tape Certified. Rock Tape is one of the world's best kinesiology tapes which can help reduce acute and chronic inflammation, pain, swelling, instability and more.
Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) is a gentle, low force technique developed by M.B. DeJarnette incorporating engineering, chiropractic, and osteopathic principles; broken down into three distinct categories which address structural and specific distortion patterns in the spine.

Dr. Erin utilizes the Neuro Emotional Technique (NET). NET emphasizes the connection between emotional health and physical wellness, seeking to promote healing on both levels. The NET Technique integrates elements of traditional Chinese medicine, chiropractic care, and neuroscience. It aims to address unresolved emotional stressors that manifest as physical symptoms or interfere with overall well-being. Dr. Erin will use muscle testing to identify specific emotional imbalances and employ various techniques, including acupressure and visualization, to release these blockages and restore balance to the body and mind.

Along with the other low force techniques utilized, the doctors love this IQ Adjusting Instrument. It can deliver an adjustment as powerful as a standard chiropractic manipulation, with more consistency according to extensive research done by Dr. Chris Colloca.

The Cox Flexion machine is used to target spinal issues such as disc herniation, disc rupture, facet syndrome, stenosis, spondylolisthesis, and others.

The doctors utilize Manual Muscle Testing and Kinesiology Analysis to determine the muscle function and joint integrity.
